1 Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly to us and information generated through your use of the Fidora app.

  • Account Information: When you register, we collect your name and email address. If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google profile data (name, email, profile picture).
  • Financial Data: Transactions, wallet balances, budgets, and categories that you enter. This data is stored securely on our servers and synced across your devices.
  • Device Information: Device model, OS version, and app version for functionality and troubleshooting.
  • Usage Analytics: Anonymous, aggregated data about how you use app features. This cannot be used to identify you personally.
  • Push Notification Tokens: To deliver important account notifications and alerts.

2 How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve Fidora:

  • Provide and operate the Fidora app and its features
  • Authenticate your identity and secure your account
  • Send important account notifications (security alerts, subscription updates)
  • Personalize your experience based on language and theme preferences
  • Analyze usage patterns to improve app performance and features
  • Respond to your support requests and questions

No Marketing Emails: We will never send you marketing or promotional emails without your explicit consent. You control your notification preferences.

3 Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data only in these limited circumstances:

  • Google (Authentication): If you use Google Sign-In.
  • Stripe (Payments): For processing premium subscription payments.
  • Expo (Push Notifications): For delivering push notifications to your device.
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our legal rights.

4 Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

  • All data in transit is encrypted using TLS (Transport Layer Security)
  • Data stored at rest is encrypted using AES-256 encryption
  • Optional Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for your account
  • PIN lock and biometric authentication available in the app
  • Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments

Important: While we take every precaution to protect your data, no system is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password and enable 2FA.

5 Your Rights & Choices

You have full control over your data. You may:

  • Access: View and export all your data from within the app (Settings → Export Data)
  • Correction: Update your account information at any time in Settings
  • Deletion: Request complete account and data deletion
  • Opt-out: Disable analytics collection in app settings
  • Data Portability: Export your transactions in CSV format

For EU residents under GDPR, you additionally have the right to erasure, data portability, and to object to processing. Contact us at support@fidora.uz.

6 Data Retention

  • Account and financial data is retained while your account remains active
  • Upon account deletion request, personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days
  • Anonymized analytics data may be retained for longer periods to improve our service
  • Legal compliance records may be retained as required by applicable laws

7 Children's Privacy

Fidora is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@fidora.uz and we will promptly delete that information.

8 Changes to This Policy

When we make significant changes, we will:

  • Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
  • Send a notification via email or in-app notification
  • For material changes, provide at least 30 days notice before they take effect

Your continued use of Fidora after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
